Wire partitions are designed that they may be erected by inexperienced labor. All wires are clinched into place through channel frames, holding frames true and straight. All bolts and nuts required for assembly are provided. However, floor and wall anchors required for attachment to building structure are not included, unless specified and requested.

Woven Wire is unquestionably the ideal construction for cage installations because of their appearance, ventilation, and practicality. Woven wire partitions can be made to any size needed by the customer.

When ordering, please send a sketch. This allows us to fabricate the woven wire partitions directly to your detail. Indicate hinge side, swing direction, and key side of all doors and sliding gates. Also indicate locations and elevations of all possible obstructions- such as, pipes, ducts, and beams -- around which the partition must fit.

Specifications

• Mesh: 1 ½” intermediate crimp woven diamond mesh.
• Wire: No. 10 gauge steel wire
• Vertical Frame: 1 ¼” x 5/8” C-Section channel with ¼” Bolts at 15” on center.
• Horizontal Frame: 1” x ½” channel, joints are mortised and tenoned.
• Center Reinforcement: Two 1” x ½” channels riveted toe to toe through the mesh
• Top Capping Bar: 2 ¼” x 1” channel with ¼” bolt holes approximately 24” on center.
• Corner Post: 1 ½” x 1 ½” angle
• Floor Sockets: 1 ¼” x 1 ¼” x 2” high aluminum or cast iron floor shoes.
• Line Posts: For free standing partitions, 3” x 4.1 channel with a 10” x 3 ½” x 3/8” base plate, use approximately every 15’ to 20’.
• Hinged Doors: 1 ¼” x ½” channel with 1 ¼” x 1/8” flat bar cover all sides. Each door to have 1 ½ pair of butt hinges.
• Sliding Doors: 1 ¼” x ½” channel with 1 ¼” x 1/8” flat bar cover all sides. Each door to have 4 wheel roller bearing hangers, box track, and bottom guide.
• Hardware: Mortise lock and cylinder operated by key outside and recessed knob inside or padlock hasp.
• Sheet Metal Base: Available with 16 gauge sheet in lower portion.
• Finish: Electrostatically applied enamel paint (Standard Colors: Gray and Black) or hot dipped galvanized.
